Well, I'm just about ready to go. After a bit of a bump in the road over flight arrangements I now have my tickets, my visa, my medical clearance and a brief job description. No doubt as I gather my packing and equipment together I shall discover I've forgotten all sorts of things but that's for next week.
I've already put some of the background to this trip in the church news letter and I hope to be able to keep you more or less up to date via the church website.
For now, could I ask you to pray for:
Practicalities of travel (schedule below)
General health – after a long winter of coughs and colds
Final preparations – that I don't forget anything important
Judith – it will be the longest we've ever been apart
and especially for the church in Bamenda, that this will not just be an interesting time (which it no doubt will be) but it will be a time when both they and I will know God is with us.
Kevin
