Open House
Open House meets twice a month, usually on the 1st and 3rd Fridays from 2.00-3.30pm.
It's open to both ladies and gentlemen, is very informal, and gives an opportunity to get together and chat with old friends as well as to invite new ones along.
One Friday a month usually consists of quizzes or playing various board games - dominoes, Scrabble, chess and others from our large collection - the emphasis is on fun rather than competition! There is no obligation to play, and everyone is very welcome to come and watch, chat and have fellowship.
On the other Friday in the month, we usually have a speaker - and enjoy a variety of interesting talks and demonstrations.
Tea and biscuits are an essential part of the afternoon.
